Evolutionary Ecology & Behavioural Ecology

We study the evolution of anti-predator traits and host-parasite coevolution using aquatic organisms as model systems. We also study macro-evolutionary patterns associated with habitat shifts.
  • Evolutionary ecology of antipredator traits (Daphnia and damselflies)
  • Reconstruction of micro-evolution from dormant egg banks
  • Host-parasite co-evolution (Daphnia and fishes)
  • Macro-evolutionary correlates of habitat shifts
  • Community genetics and metapopulation structure
  • [Population genetic structure, local adaptation and gene flow]
